How do I evidence knowledge of national curriculum for primary and secondary for a job in school improvement when most of my experience is in SEN/ EAL most recently at 16 plus?
Although very few students are actually at key stage 5

    Thank you

The straightforward answer would be you can't. If your expertise is in special needs and at a different phase then you need to be looking for the type of post to suit your expertise.
That said if you do want to apply then its a straightforward research job on the national curriculum to be able to comment on recent developments as part of your application. Also consider whether other skills and expertise particularly in leadership and management may be more important to the post as knowledge ,sadly, is always fleeting.

    I agree with @welshwizard above.

You need to be both honest and realistic here. If you do not have what they are looking for, then possibly you are not what they need.

    Just think about it . . .

    Best wishes
