@TheoGriff , I know you answer many questions on Executive Summaries but I would appreciate some advice. I have been sent an application form and job description. I have been asked to complete the application form but not asked for a letter of application. Is it OK to complete the application form including my ES in the 'supporting statement' box and then write a letter of application? Or should I write in prose in this box and attach my ES to the end of the application form/in a separate attachment once completed?

    Thank you in advance.

People quite often don't ask for a letter of application, but you should send one anyway unless told specifically not to!

    So . . .

    That's what I suggest.

I assume that you have seen all my advice on applications, including these?
