Dear Theo -confused about E.S for independent school

Dear Theo,
I am applying for a job as sole art teacher at an independent secondary school and I am desperate to get the application right as I would love the job. I recently applied for another job which I thought I was perfect for and spent a long time crafting the application but didn't make it to interview.
Since then I've read lots of articles on here and found them really useful, especially the E.S which I'd never heard of. However I'm struggling to write it as there are no clear "requirements" listed, only a 3 page job description which goes in massive detail of the teacher's duties. I keep trying to summarise but I either feel I'm leaving key points out or I end up writing huge paragraphs.
I almost feel like the more research I'm doing, the more confused I'm getting!

How about using this?

Blank E.S. pro-forma for job applications - with Teachers' Standards filled in

Just add to it one or two things about Art specifically from their job description.

The alternative is just to go through their JD and strike out 2 in every 3 points, leaving only the essentials and ignoring the rest.
