    Dear Theo,
i was just wondering to complete NQT year do you have to be employed as a teacher? What if you are employed as a sports coach, that will be planning and teaching all PE lessons within one school? Can NQT year still be completed this way?
    Thanks

  2. I doubt it. Pretty sure you have to teach full curriculum, use TAs, beh man, etc. You have to tick all the boxes just like on TP. Not sure how you'd be able to by only teaching PE. Anyone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

I would be teaching full PE curriculum with responsibility of report writing etc in a primary school.
(I'm a NQT secondary PE teacher)

Are you paid as a teacher? I think that's the deciding factor. X

You are not going to get the answer that you are hoping for . . .
No, this will not count - you have to be a teacher.
It is hard getting a job, I know. Have you also considered the Independent sector? You can do your induction there. Pop over to
the independent section and read the clickables in the Welcome thread
    there.
(After reading the clickables in our Welcome thread here, of course!)
Make sure that you are aware of all the job opps by signing up for Job Alerts here on TES.

    Best of luck.
