    Hello again Theo and all,
I interviewed at a school last year and failed - I knew this before the call home, so I understood where I had failed before being told!
Now my ideal job has been advertised at the same school - my questions are:
    1. Should I apply, bearing in mind I failed last time?
    2. Will they remember me from last year?
    3. If they do remember me, will they reconsider me as my experience is better for this post than the last?
    4. Should I mention my last application/interview?
    5. Should I just forget it because I am feeling cross and disillusioned [IMG]

I'll answer 5 Should I just forget it because I am feeling cross and disillusioned first. Definitely not!
Apply, they might not remember you, and as you say your experience is better now, plus you'll be up against a different set of people.

You are now a different person from last year. Older, wiser, better teacher, even fatter perhaps. [IMG]
    Q1 Yes
Q2 Doubt it, although they may just. Doesn't matter though.
Q3 No reason why they shouldn't re-consider you.
Q4 No, save your letter space for writing about successes, not failures!
Q5 Don't you dare! We do NOT allow that on this forum.
    Best wishes
