Dear Theo - Application sent straight into school spam folder?

    For what it's worth, over the years I've known a number of people's applications sent by post fail to reach their destination. I think email has a bit of an edge in this regard, although that's no consolation.
    A personal example - a close friend recently sent me a reply to an email I'd sent her over a year previously, which had only just popped up in her inbox...
