DEAR THEO - Application form with no Personal Statement

I'm applying for a Head of Year role at an Academy, and have filled out the application form, but there is no space for a personal statement, nor does it state anywhere that I am to submit one.

Is it OK to write a covering letter to the Head which acts as the Personal Statement, despite not having been asked for one?

    Of course!

A letter of application should always be sent, rather than just a form on its own. Make your E.S. the third page of the letter, so that it prints out automatically.

I assume that you have found the advice in the professional ADvice Hub? tag me @TheoGriff if not and I'll point you in the right direction.

    Best wishes
