You're quite right Theo. I have to let them know I care about the reputation and good name of the school and I know that pupils should see role models for good behaviour in the adults at school. I have an example of when I dealt effectively with a confrontational TA in my classroom. Also I am currently resolving difficulties in my team which stem from the same TA's immaturity. The truth is I have to act because I can't teach when things are not amicable and the pupils are getting a raw deal! And in special needs it's definately the adults who cause the most headaches for the teacher and dealing with them is a big learning curve!!!! Ok I am all packed and prepared once again with the passport.
