People already in a school that changes to an Academy may well have different T&C from those who join once it is an Academy.
There are quite a lot of Academies who no longer provide the STPCD (Burgundy Book) conditions.

I know some Academies which do not follow the STPCD, but have very similar T&C. However, you should read the Union sites where they put their views.

If you have concerns, try contacting the Business manager at the school and asking. So many schools are changing fast to Academy status that they are not having time to change their T&C, I reckon.

  3. Thanks Theo! Had a quick look at the NUT link but the ATL one doesn't want to play tonight. Guess i'll just have to ask them if I get to interview. Thanks :)
