Dear Theo- advice regarding portfolio at forthcoming job fair

Discussion in 'Jobseekers' started by annap28, Jan 24, 2011.

  1. Dear Theo (and all who may read this!)
I would very much appreciate some advice. I am attending the job fair in London this weekend, there is a job that I am desperately interested in that requires 'documented evidence of excellence in teaching'. I am unsure as to what I should provide to support this - are lesson plans, schemes of work etc necessary? Hopefully my references are pretty sound so should support my application!
    Many thanks for any help,

Do you have any sheets showing lesson observations? That's very clear evidence. Or the exam results from your classes? Or - have you ever had a payrise due to good teaching? Or any letters from parents?
But your other documents will support this too if you don't have the above.
Best of luck - I hope it goes well!
