Dear Theo, A good start...

  1. Hi all,
I'm ecstatic! I've just been confirmed a place on a
return to teaching course! This is also being supported by a school
where I have done a previous placement, along with the same mentor from
    way back then!
I'm so pleased and hoping that this could be the start of something positive for me!
question now is, because there are quite a few jobs starting to be advertised
in my area, is it worth me applying before starting my course and using
this mentor as a reference? She has said in the past that she would be
willing to be a reference for me as the last school I worked in wasn't a
great one. I also have my last employer who, although was training
rather than teaching, I know will give me a glowing reference.
or should I at least wait until I start the course?
Ideally I'd like a September start.
