Dear Stephen, help with PGCE interview please.

Discussion in 'Thinking of teaching' started by foodfan, Dec 9, 2011.

  1. Hi Stephen,
I have an interview for design and technology (food) coming up very soon. I would be grateful of any advice/tips you would be able to give me on being successful. I have a literacy task, a 5min presentation on my subject including skills/knowledge and understanding and have to teach a lesson on a skill. Then a group interview, probably based on more generic questions.
I am also unsure of how to find out information on current educational issues/problems or problems with the curriculum.
Also any tips on how to cope in group interview would be good.
I would be grateful of any help.
    Thanks.
