Dear Sage- can I still get my Golden Hello?

    I think that as long as you trained before the 2011 cohort it doesn't matter when you complete your nqt year and following 1st term
  2. I qualified last year, have the government scrapped it for my year then?

    anyone starting training in sept 2011 won't get it.

    You have 12 months from completing induction to claim the Golden Hello. i wiould suggest that you claim immediately you ha ve completed as the scheme is being run down and there could be delays in paying.
    The claim goes to your Local Authority who then process and pay. If your school does not use the LA payroll then talk with them beforehand
