Dear Sage....Advice on leaving

Discussion in 'Trainee and student teachers' started by kymmi, Apr 29, 2012.

  1. Is it affecting your health? You talk about a downward spiral which suggests that it is. Speak to your university about it asap. If you feel that you could go back later and do your placement once you've had a chance to recover explain how you feel and ask them if you can defer. I was in a similar position (although it was the school not teaching that was getting me down) and I was allowed to defer. Best of luck.

  2. Thanks kymml. Yes it has affected my health. I feel like I am a former shadow of myself. I just unable to focus whether its actual teaching or working at home. I have booked an appointment with my university tutor tomorrow where I plan to tell them how I feel. Hopefully that will consider a deferral.

  3. Good luck. [IMG]
