Dear James - Subject Specialism

Discussion in 'Trainee and student teachers' started by cj10, Jan 15, 2011.

  1. Dear James,

I am currently training on a PGCE in Geography but have seen a position I'm really interested in - as a Citizenship teacher. Is it possible for NQTs to complete their induction in a different subject? I would appreciate any advice, thanks.

  2. Hi Cj10, it is possible. But beware no allowance will be made for lack of subject knowledge ect in terms of passing induction. Good luck with the application.
