Dear James, CEDP folder??

    To be honest nobody has ever asked for mine, nor have I looked in it since my PGCE.

    Hmmmm, some of it does seem like its going to be quite time consuming and slightly pointless when there's enough to be doing already! But don't you need it to make sure you are meeting the standards and collecting evidence to put in the folder?

    The folders were optional last year and this year also. You can use the folder you have if the school askj for it though many do not. I would just ensure that you list your priorities for the induction year and negotiatre with your school the support and any extra training that you feel you may need to complete the year successfully.
