    Hi all,

Hope everyone is enjoying the last day of half term. Oh, the last minute cram. Yuck!

Anyway, I was hoping for some advice on teaching databases to Year 6. I have a very boy heavy class and a lot of them are quite confident with ICT. I'd like to do a unit on databases that really engages them and challenges them too.

I have seen some interesting ideas on the net - olympics, houses, footballers etc, but I am expected to link my ICT to topic really. Our topic is all about life cycles and adaptation.

Does anyone have any suggestions for how I can do this in a really engaging, boy-friendly way rather than just the basic mini-beast stuff that they do in Year 4?

Thank you so much in advance for any ideas!
