I teach nursery and after adding the baseline data I was told that some of the children are too low, so I had to move them higher(though I have used my teacher's best fit judgement)! Has anyone else got the same problem??

No, just the opposite. Although, they said not to worry because at the beginning of the year, it is better not to be very enthusiastic about what the children can do.

I will say, be very carefull. Try to talk and explain yourself to the SLT. What if you are right and those children don't show any progress next term?
