Data tasks for Lead Teacher interview

    Hi all,

What kind of data tasks should I expect for a Lead Teacher interview? How much should I be able to discuss my previous schools? My previous HOD didn't pass much on and the school before that was 3 years ago.

    Any tips gratefully received!

Hullo Kitty, and well done for getting that interview!

They would be exactly the sort of data tasks that you could expect to have to do when carrying out the role. It will be analysis of results (interna;l and external) and identifying the pupils for intervention, is one guess.

Be careful not to give away any information that a former or current school could consider confidential.

Have you found the interview advice articles in the Professional Advice Hub? Tag me @TheoGriff if not, and I'll point you in the right direction.

    Best wishes

On here we have a very nice tradition that when you actually get a job, you started a brand-new thread (not adding it to this one - a brand-new thread) where you told us your good news. You call it Dear Theo - I got that job! and this gives everyone a chance to congratulate you. It also gives them hope and inspiration for their own jobseeking, to see you successful.

Make sure you congratulate someone when you see a thread like that!

So I will end by saying that we look forward to seeing your Dear Theo - I got that job!

    Best wishes
