I met Nick Pollard, who runs Damaris, at Spring Harvest this year and attended his daily seminars which were excellent. I have been looking at subscribing to Damaris as they do some lesson plans for most of the films and topics that I look at in our 'Philosophy at the Movies' unit. I'm always looking for ideas to improve the lessons.
I also like the idea of some of their lessons that might connect with the GCSE course we do.
Does anyone subscribe and would you say it is worth it? I'm the only member of staff in the department so I could get away with the individual subscription rate.
