Current educational issues

  1. Hi,
I am a Scottish trained primary teacher, hoping to move to England next year. With jobs beginning to be advertised I would be grateful for any advice on current educational matters in England. I have read up on ECM and the importance to schools, but I am finding specific teaching and learning strategies (or associated jargon) hard to come across.
Sorry that the request is rather non-specific, but any indicators/advice would be fantastic!!
    Thanks
