Crikey, that's not a bad wage!

  1. Just idly flicking through the job vacancies on my local authority website and see that they're recruiting 22 new 'Civil Enforcement Officers' (a.k.a. traffic wardens).
    Canny wage they're offering - £19,621 to £21,519 + weekend enhancements.
I'm almost tempted to apply, but don't know if I could hack the aggro!

I would say they need that sort of wage for the grief they put up with. Plus walking around outside in all weathers. I would feel guilty every time I put a ticket on someone's car too!

They don't get half terms either.

    Best wishes

But then neither do I (non teaching person).
It's quite a lot more than I'm earning at the moment. I'm almost tempted... [IMG]
