Covering letter query...

I'm applying for my first role since my NQT year, and am reasonably confident in putting together a covering letter, however I am little uncertain about how specific I should be in regards previous GCSE results etc.

The job specification mentions a good track record of student progress; should I include exact results?

I have a few class/subject residuals in my career thus far that I am proud of but am unsure if I should include them.

It feels a little uncomfortable to write about but perhaps I am being too British and that sort of detail is expected?!

Any guidance on this would be appreciated.

I’d put them in, providing they are recent and stated briefly. Like it or not, it’s how many define good teachers.

It seems that way... Thank you!
