Coursework options for SEN students without SEN support

Hello, I work in a secondary school which has no SEN department or access to SEN resources locally in Tanzania. I am trying to review options within mainstream classes for those with known (assessed previously) or suspected SEN needs (several dyslexic at least, possibly 1 or 2 ADD etc). The school does not administer coursework options for iGCSE as being difficult to administer and moderate. Is this something I should look into further? Does anyone have expertise / experience of certain forms of SEN doing better (or worse) in coursework options vs/ exams? Worth noting that as we have only one very expensive assessment option locally (beyond the means of most students) than access arrangements for exams are almost impossible to arrange.
