Which countries accept applications for older (59+) teachers?

Our school here in Madrid has often hired retirees in their 60s. Mostly maths and physics. I'm 67 in a couple of weeks and I'm still going strong...

I think it would be a shorter list if you asked "who doesn't take people over 59"?

Im pretty sure China doesn't, basically for visa reasons

I'm 57 and am about to do my first international job next month, in Abu Dhabi. I think they thought it was good to have a better balance of ages.

Lots of people over 60 in China, just ask the hippo, but it may be you have to be there first to get renewed. And of course being China the rules can change overnight and no on tells you, you find out when you re-apply. All part of life's rich tapestry!
