Could I be pregnant? Or have I just got the flu?!

Discussion in 'Pregnancy' started by ellesabe, Aug 26, 2011.

  1. LO is 9 months old and I'm still breastfeeding so haven't had a period yet since her birth.

    Symptoms since yesterday are:

    Feeling sick and dizzy,
Very bad circulation in lower arms,
    Period-pain type cramps,
    Feverish and shaky,
    Terrible headache,
    Achy muscles,
    Very tired and lethargic.

I've also had quite a lot of ewcm for the past three days or so. We have been using the minipill and although I am terrible at remembering to take it, we always use condoms for a week when I forget.

Should I bother doing a test or have I just got the flu??

I'd say it's extremely unlikely you are pregnant - (pill + condoms are a much better contraceptive than bfing a 9 month old though...). It sounds more like a flu bug.
  4. Oh I'm so pleased you said that! I also wondered if it might be my periods about to return. Ho hum. Back to bed I go...
