Could anyone Suggest any 'Narrative Poetry' for my Year 5 Class? Thanks

    Hi, could anyone suggest any 'longer class poetry' and 'Narrative poetry' for my Year 5 class.

    I used Hillaire Belloc's 'Matilda' and 'Albert and't Lion' by Marriott Edgar when I did this, both good fun and good for class recitation/ dramatizations.

  4. Have you tried Brecht's 'Children's Crusade'?
     
  5. The Highwayman - must be a classic for narrative.
