I know that I've done it before, copying from Studio Active/Studio Learn to paste into a Powerpoint. However,I don't seem to be able to do it anymore. Any ideas?

Yes, you did used to be able to do it.Now you have to save the image or for ease, I print screen and copy it into Notebook and then trim the edges off using the camera icon. It takes a little longer but do able!

In Windows, the ( well hidden) Snipping Tool is very useful for capturing and annotating bits of the current screen.
Use the Search tool to find and use it more info here
