I have written a new blog about how to construct polygons to discover their properties.

The aim of the lesson is for students to discover the interior and exterior angle properties for themselves. You might be surprised what the most difficult part of the lesson was.

Please do leave feedback and share any ideas of your own.

    Thank you

I agree that many students have great difficulty using a pair of compasses to draw a circle. A very common problem is the screw at the top becomes slightly loose so a little bit of pressure changes the radius. I used to carry a small screwdriver to tighten it up for them but lost it somewhere.
