Computer programming for KS2

    keep hearing that programming is the way of the future! just wondered if any one has any programming packages available for ks2? Is it the way of the future?!

  3. I've used scratch successfully fom Y2 right up to Y6. There are lots of great tutorials (see djphillips' resources and http://www.eastonhome.co.uk/Scratch/ (eastonhome))

     
  4. Recommend BeeBots, Flowbots, Robomind, Logo, Scratch....

    We have been having a bit of a fiddle with robomind (as suggested above), seems like quite a nice way to get kids to give commands by typing rather than the drag and drop environment of scratch and point and click of kodu (whch are both worthy programs and if I had to pick one tool it would be scratch over everything)
