Compulsory Eroticism?

    Behold, I tell you a mystery:

    I note that one of the bibbled posts on the British values thread was my comment that ‘I have gay friends, including the god-parent of one of my children, but I wouldn't be seen dead at a gay rave (or a straight one for that matter).’

    Now, I’m all for political correctness. On the old Opinion thread, some of us I stood up so staunchly against homophobia that the resident bigot labelled us ‘Mainwaring and the homosexual lobby’. (Let me observe en passant that el Cortijo del Rector doesn’t even have a vestibule, let alone a lobby). But it had never occurred to me that the TES mods might regard attendance at swingers parties as compulsory. Dios mio! You never know who you might meet.
