One for me too, please.
Shocking service in here.
Can I have a glass of champagne to toast the birth of my beautiful baby son Florian? He was born last Saturday and is absolutely gorgeous!
(and yey, I get to drink again!!)
Voilà, Noémie et félicitations!
Yes indeed! Congratulations!
Congratulations! This calls for Champagne on the house!
With this cold weather and snow I'd like a nice cup of hot chocolate Fifi please, with whipped cream and marshmallows on top.
Has anyone had a snow day yet?
Yes, every secondary school in our county was closed on Friday!
I love babies
.I am so broody for grand children, now I am semi retired .
Can I be a surrogate Grand- mother,? as my two sons are showing no inclination to reproduce in the forseeable future. They are only 25 and 22 by the way, but I `m 57 and starting to feel the need to cuddle an infant and then return it to it`s Mum ,for night time feeds etc
Welcome baby Florian.!!
I wonder if you will be posting on this site in 20 years time,or will Mum steer you away from teaching !
He he, of course you can be a surrogate grandmother! And I think once a language geek, always a language geek! (the term was coined by my oh)
Thought I'd get a round of drinks in to celebrate the 1000th post in the results thread.
Cheers. A guignolet kirsch for me. Any chance of some peanuts?
Peanuts will be bought too, especially as this looks like being a cheap round!
Add in some salt 'n vinegar crisps and a G&T for me please! (with more G than T - little one has been difficult today and I'm knackered!)
Perhaps Fifi has a room which we could hire- BTW mine's a pint of Ruddles!
As I am feeling shattered after marking I will have a Rémy Martin!
Now the Year 11s have disappeared into GCSE exam time land, make mine a Prosecco with elderflower cordial , known as a `Hugo`. locally. As provided free by my local Emporium on their shopping evenings.
Always up for a Prosecco!
Is it too early for a Kir?
