Closure of Teachers TV website - 29th April

    It's not often I say this about government resources, but there is some really amazing stuff on there.
    Surely there must be some way of preserving these resources. TES resource bank? Espresso? Putting them all on youtube? If the government is so hard pressed they must surely be willing to accept a nominal sum to licence the copyright?
    Come on TES, buy them for us and host through your bandwidth!
     
  2. The DfE is making the Teachers.TV content freely available to any external websites that wish to stream it on their behalf.

    We're (http://www.tpet.co.uk) hoping to be able to do this & i'm sure other sites will do the same thing. Obviously no new videos will be made but at least the archive of videos that have been created so far will not be lost - such a valuable resource to so many people.
