Scientists have been warning us for years and now the deniers are looking stupid as people mop up for the third time in a month because of climate change.

I think the climate change argument would have been more readily accepted if it had been called global wetting instead of global warming. People don't appreciate that it is warmer but they are noticing the extra water.

I'm surprised you are still here. We all know what happens to biscuits when they are dunked.

Yeah, climate change. That's convenient. Means we don't ever have to dredge those rivers again. Why bother? Climate change.

    Has everyone assumed their positions?

    Battlelines drawn? Weapons ready?

Climate change is not a new event. Our westminster bean counters along with central and local funding mechanisms have effectively removed some very sensible precautions to allow the water to drain away, are you a denier too?

Or even deja vu? Plus a couple of accents natch.

Or anyone actually. However, I take Jacob's point about the OP.

    You are clearly a wind-up.

It's funny because the science is too complicated for you.

    Never mind.
