Because some people are professionals who put the students first and give them a quality experience and not act like a bunch of kids who can seperate themselves from a dispute with government that is not our students fault. Sorry but I feel strongly about this. We really need to get a grip. :/

An easy on. Here goes. It is a mixture of gambling & simple probablilty.
You have a pack of cards, shuffle them & lay out the top 7, face down so the players can't see the cards.
Play starts with you turning the first one face up. The player then has to 'predict' whether the next one you turn up will be higher or lower than the face up one. Once her has made the prediction, you turn it up & if he was right, you do the same for the next one - he has to predict if the third card will be higher of lower than the last card you tuned up.
As long as player predicts correctly, you keep turning cards up. As soon as a prediction is incorrect, he loses! All 7 cards correctly predicted ==> prize!
Beware, you have to be specific about the rules: Is an Ace high or low, what happens if you get 2 cards of equal value in a row (eg 2 Kings).
You can start the game agin either after a shuffle or afterputting the used cards to the bottom of the pack. With the latter, there is more chance of pupils who are interested in card-counting getting some rewards for their efforts.
The card game is a good idea, you might need some big cards though to make it more dramatic though.
Cake sale is always an easy option.
