Does anyone know if PAGs are still having to be completed or if they have been reduced. I'm trying to plan how these are going to be done when we aren't in a lab due to their bubbles not being in the science block.

Just looked at the latest updates from OCR(sat 5 sept)- Chemistry is not mentioned. Think you have to plan for at least the minimum number of PAGS to get a pass. Needless to say this is not ideal.

The rules on PAGs have been loosened - whilst students still need to have completed all the skills covered, this can now be done in less than 12 practicals. As, in Chemistry, the 12 practical groups are fairly distinct and link to specific types of practical, this is less useful than in Biology where the skills required can be tested in a greater range of contexts and are therefore more easily combined.

Centres can still be inspected though this will be done remotely (pieces of work will need to available electronically) and centres still need to provide a declaration form at the end of the year
