I have just ordered one of these online and can't wait! If anyone else is a massive cheese fan, they are available in most supermarkets at £10.

Sounds great but lost on me. Assuming that it, that it's variety chese? I'm dead boring and only like cheddar, Cheshire etc.

Simply not true. Chocolate is fine, but usually slightly too cheap and by Christmas I am often "chocolated out". But I have never had too much cheese. Ever. Sometimes I have eaten quite a lot of cheese, but never too much.

Not been in Sainsburys. Might nip in for a look tomorrow if I can wade through the geriatric ditherers with lethal trolleys blocking the aisles for a natter.

Some of those sound more like sweets than cheese.

There is a bit of an "Ilchester" theme going on there. Never heard of them. Going off it a bit now with them ponced up varieties. I'm sure there could easily be 24 varieties without mucking about.

I wanted one until I saw the varieties or rather flavoured cheese offered. I would make my own but maybe buying 24 different cheeses comes as a bit expensive! Besides i would want it to be a surprise each day.....and then there's all the plastic wrapping to angst over.

When I was a kid, the only thing you got with advent calendars were festive pictures behind each window. Can I sue the advent calendar makers for my deprived childhood?
