Hi we are sorting out our primary school library and have found a lot of books we no longer need (we have duplicates, are from old scheme we no longer use, or have been donated from parents but aren't really suitable for a school library). My local charity shops don't accept books, I was hoping we might be able to donate them to a charity where there might come in useful for disadvantaged children, either this country or abroad. Does anyone know of anywhere that accepts used books for this purpose? We are in Nottingham but could post out if needed.

I think the toy shop 'The Entertainer' takes them for a charity. Not sure exactly what or how, but I have a vague recollection that they do.
