Cert Ed help

Discussion in 'Further Education' started by butby39, Mar 20, 2011.

  1. Hi all
I'm coming to the end of Ctlls soon and want to continue onto the cert ed.
I am however worried about my employability as my level 3 qualification is in health and social care which is the area i have been working in for the last 10 years.
Was wondering if it was a good idea to do the cert ed with integrated level 5 literacy to give me more range when qualified.
Can anyone give me any tips or advice please ?

  2. IMO this would probsbly serve you well.... though my understanding is that there is a relative abundance of specialists in literacy compared to maths...
So maybe maths - if you're confident in it - could be a better move - thouh of course lit fits more with your previous experience...
