Census challenge

Discussion in 'Teaching assistants' started by Rachellen, Mar 8, 2011.

  1. I received a copy of the census yesterday. Question 35 is "Briefly describe what you do in your main job."
It allows 34 characters. Yes characters, not words!

So, how would you describe what we do so briefly?
I thought of a very resigned "What the teacher tells me to do."
or a more positive "Help children achieve more."
    What are your thoughts?

  3. I'm going to put "Assist teaching and learning".

Yes, I was planning on 'support teaching and learning' - bit of a standard reply as an actual description would take at least a page and there's never enough room on anything for that!
