Am enjoying watching all the old Catherine Tate shows on iplayer.
    So funny.
Anyone else like her or do you have another favourite comedy show?

The Fast Show is hilarious at times. I cant think of anything more recent unfortunately.

I didn't watch her comedy shows but I thought she made a memorable Doctor Who companion to David Tennant.

Just recently I have watched a few Father Teds. Didn't watch them when they were first on. Very funny!

Strange that my three all-time favourite TV comedies all begin with F:

    Fawlty Towers
    Father Ted
    Frasier

Have you ever seen Peter Kay's "Phoenix Nights" - there are some episodes of that that are as funny as anything I've ever seen.

The episode of "Phoenix Nights" with the rude bouncy castle is roll around on the floor funny.

I recently re-watched all of the "Vicar of Dibley" on iPlayer, they are great, especially the first series.

"Mandy" is good too with the wonderful Diane Morgan.

Haven't seen Father Ted for years, due for a re-watch, Black Books is another good one.

Agreed. However, like 'Fawlty Towers', there are just far too few episodes.

    I really enjoyed 'Outnumbered'.

Black Books! Yes, of course and Green Wing.
I am not so blown away by lots of the recent comedies. I fear this is a sign of old age. :(

I loved Catherine Tate, especially the Nan character as she reminded me of my Nana.
Peter Kay is always funny but I think that may be just if you're Northern.

Father Ted-brilliant! Makes me laugh everytime I watch it, no matter how many times I've seen it before. :)
Anyone remember Colin's Sandwich with Mel Smith? The episode with the cat is so funny.
