    Anyone else an Archers Addict?

Listened for more years than I care to remember.

Thanks to podcasts I can listen any time of day or night on the go! :D

    What are your 'addictions'?

I do spend some time on here reading some of the arguments in a bucket that folks present.
Then i do have building work.allotments, shopping, taxing, etc etc to take up hours///////how come I end up washing all the dishes is what I want ti know.

I was recently addicted to the Great Interior Design Challenge, it was compelling in a strange way.
I haven't been listening to the radio much lately and need to remedy that.

Radio 4 in the car and sometimes at home if I work the Sonos.

I liked the Great Interior Design Challenge too. The presenters can be a bit irritating and the one who kept weeping irritated me, but it's a generally enjoyable programme.

    Indeed
I watched it because there was nothing else on when the first episode came out and then didn't miss an episode thereafter.
And I don't even like interior design

Have been addicted to the Archers for years - normally I am at least three or more weeks behind though. A few years ago I had forgotten the news that Phil had died and I was listening on the bus in the way in to work. I was rather distraught by the time I got there...:(

I also didn't foresee Nigel and the roof!...

So no spoilers please - I have just had Christmas in Ambridge

...I miss Radio 4 - it isn't the same when you have to download podcasts - you don't get those random programmes that you would never had listened to had you not just had the radio on.

I listen to it through my TV coz I don't have a working radio (You and Yours just now)
You can get it on satellite as well

I stumbled upon it by accident about a third of the way in.
Part of my addiction was the horrified fascination of the crapola finishes they gave to things which gave me licence to yell advice at the telly

I really don't think my TV will get it!...We have rather strange choices here
The time shift problem is also key - when I want to listen it is about 2am in the UK so listening online gives me World Service.

Am t'other side of the world.

I know what you mean, but thank goodness we have podcasts as well as live radio broadcast. It has enabled me to listen to some very interesting overseas radio programmes that I would otherwise have missed.
