CAS Summer School - Games Development

Discussion in 'Computing and ICT' started by shumphreys, Jun 7, 2011.

  1. The Computing at School working group (CAS) are running a summer school at the NSLC in York.

"CAS are delighted that for this, our first, Summer School, we will be able to spend an extended period of time getting to grips with the Greenfoot environment for developing games with students in our classroom. It is assumed that those attending will have had some prior experience with Java programming and some familiarity with Greenfoot, though not essential.

In this summer school, participants will extend their skills and become competent in using Greenfoot in the classroom. The sessions include technical and pedagogical aspects of teaching programming, much of it applicable to teaching games programming with any kind of environment."
