Carroll diagrams - Year 2 Ofsted ideas?

Discussion in 'Primary' started by nearlyateacher, Mar 5, 2008.

  1. Hello!

We've had "the call" to say that Ofsted are in next week. Does anyone have some ideas of activities for Carroll diagrams? My class have looked at Venn diagrams this week and I don't want it to look too repetitive in my planning.....

    Thanks

  2. I would physically get them to sort things into a large carroll diagram that was drawn onto a big piece of sugar paper. At the start of the year I got my class to do it with old Xmas cards. Snow no snow, trees no trees etc. It worked really well.

  3. Thanks very much. It's now much clearer in my mind!

There's a nice IWB file on primary resources website for carroll diagrams (you may want to tweak it a bit). My kids loved it!
