I fear my twelve year old motor car is about to go to the great rusty tip in the sky.

Any suggestions for a decent second hand five door hatchback - up to £2000. It'll be used for work, ferrying kids and going to the allotment.

    A 5 - 7 year old Skoda Comfort Fabia.
Excellent wee car. Value for money. Defo do-able under 2k.
Do a search for your area and see what's available

  4. Have you ever consult a motor car specialist? I think you need one to fix your problem. But I've read that some rusty car enthusiast try to remodel or customize their vehicle through car painting. Would you like to try that one? I know that idea would be expensive but you ask financial assistance here: http://www.matchfinancial.com

    Hope this helps!

    Why the revival? Flogging something?

  6. If 'its' info is right it will be disappointed as importing a car from the US will be waaaaay beyond Mad dog's budget [IMG]

I think Mad Dog, who posted it nearly three years ago, may not find it relevant now.

  8. I knew I'd forget that as soon as I found where 'it' was based. To think, I used to have a memory span of at least, oh, half an hour?
