Capacity in reception

  1. Any ideas for teaching capacity in reception, I've had a search on the early years forum, but unfortunately didn't find much...

    Different size containers
    how many small containers to fill large container (both in sand and water)
    how many cups can you fill with one jug full
    Which holds more (different shaped containers - short & wide /tall & narrow to show both hold the same amount)
