Capability Procedures - can anyone give any light on this matter?

    This is ringing alarm bells.
    I went through "Informal capability" whereupon I was called into office, had "informal chat" was given 6 weeks and an actionplan, weekly meetings to review progress then at end of 6 weeks came off it. I find it odd they are saying that in 3 weeks they will put you on it, they should be giving you support too.
    You have got union involved tho right?

    You are lucky. You must be working in a reasonable school. Well done for getting through IF.Sometimes even regional reps recommend a CA and teacher resigns with an agreed reference. Some schools make sure that the person concerned never gets through the procedure especially if they happen to be a UPS teacher. Some teachers are never supported through the action plan.
