capability for teaching head??

    It's an interesting one. Heads can be put on capabilities by the governors but I suppose they would have to put themselves into capabilities for their teaching and they're not likely to do that are they!!
     
  2. Every school/LA has a capability policy that will include the Head. Most policies will stipulate that concerns about a headteacher should be referred to the Chair of Governors. When that happens the C o G will almost certainly seek advice from a senior office in the LA HR dept. That's the theory!
