    master post once had a cut-and-paste report saying how much he'd enjoyed being in the year group production, which he hadn't been, as his professional commitments had precluded itr

  5. To remember which spelling of practice, practise, advice, advise to use...
    The N comes before the V in the alphabet.
    The noun form is practice, advice.
    C comes before S in the alphabet.
    So C = N(oun)
    and S = V(erb)
