I am looking for engaging plays to encourage group reading in my Y7, 8 and 9 nurture groups. Can anyone suggest any?

Isn't Ionesco a little advanced for Key Stage 3?

Our students quite like Our Day Out by Wil/y Russell. It does have a fair few swears in it, though. I've taught it to lower sets and the language is accessible, though it is written with a Liverpool dialect (so things like "y' know'" appear). It's good fun, though!
